We've had so many things going on since I last posted. Madeline is growing like a weed. She is such a wonderful little girl and blessing. She has a vocabulary of about 10 words and it is just so funny to listen to her.
Recently my parents, Jason and Lisa, Sonny and Bec and we went to an awesome charity event on the USS Lexington. It's called the Stagedoor Canteen. It was a dance with a live band playing big band music. Maddie was going to stay with Lisa's mom, but it didn't work out, so we just decided to bring her along. She had the best time. We knew she would because she loves to dance. This is the girl who stops in a parking lot to dance when she hears music! Anyways, we all had a great time passing her around and dancing with her.
It was also really cool being on the Lex after hours. It was kind of creepy down in the bathrooms, but fun.
Thanks Aunt Bec for buying a table for all of us. We had an unforgettable time!
On another note, I'm still reading The Shack. If anything it makes me long for a closer relationship with God and to stop being so independent.
Also, we have a big TAKS test coming up. My students have been working hard so hopefully they will all pass with flying colors.
